Thank you for the positive feedback! I for sure took my time with each of these, it's good to see it pays off :)

Thank you for the critique! I will keep these points in mind, I have noticed myself slacking on consistently ghosting all lines.
Thank you!
Hi Dio!
Thank you for the detailed critique. I've drawn four more constructions and done my best do follow the feedback.
Two more questions came up to me:
Regarding the "don't alter the silhouette" rule: what about a case where I draw a mass for the neck, and then I want to add some extra furry mass all around it, like a sleeve? I'm thinking of e.g. the neck of an alpaca. Is the answer just to draw the neck with the desired "radius" from the beginning, so it's all contained within the first mass I draw?
Regarding the lines where sausages connect: should I draw them even if they fall on a surface that's not visible? For example the inside of the "elbow", if it's hidden from view. In my page 2 I did not draw such lines where they're hidden.
Thank you for the detailed feedback, this clarifies many concepts I was struggling with!
Ok, thank you! this was super helpful.
Thank you for the feedback! I have two questions, sorry for not including them earlier:
When applying line weight, should I draw from the shoulder as well? I've tried this, but my lack of accuracy for curved lines usually leads to very bad results.
When drawing hair, I struggle to see how I can draw all the shadows and the way they fall above and under hundreds of overlapping strands, so I resort to no drawing hair at all, or I just draw the hairs themselves. Any advice?
So cute! Love the ideas!
Thanks for the feedback! ?
A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.
In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
